Tom was born in Burton on Trent Staffordshire. He is currently 21 years of age.

 

Tom started out in Junior Grasstrack, it soon became evident that Tom had a natural talent for the sport winning the Junior Grasstrack Championship for three years running from 2006.

 

He also rode Junior Short Track, winning the Championship in 2007, and 2008. He then moved to the senior ranks, which gained him runner up in the World Flat Track Championship in 2012.

 

Tom also had the chance to Race over in the US for a week in 2012, on the wildly differing tracks from Europe, gaining a second and third place in the two events he raced on borrowed machinery!

 

Now turning his attention to Speedway full time he is riding for the Buxton Hitmen in the British National League, a regular since 2013, and again signed up for the 2015 season.

 

Tom also works for Joe Hughes International and brings a wealth of knowledge/advice to customers, current and just starting out in the sport.
